Scrap Neck
Scrap Neck works well to sue up scrap yarn and given yarn quantity is only a guideline. The neck is worked with 1 strand Sunday and 3 strands Tynn Silk Mohair/Plum/Tilia. You can substitute with other yarns with equivalent gauge. I have used the same shade of Sunday throughout but several different mohair shades to create some colour variation.
When changing colours in the mohair change a single strand at a time to get a subtler effect.
First you cast on, then the back section is worked. Then the shoulders are worked so you divide into two. Then you work the front section, joining the two shoulders together. Finally, stitches are picked up around the neck opening and the roll neck is worked.
